In July 2020, Musawah conducted a survey on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on women living under discriminatory Muslim family laws. This video reflects some key issues raised by women’s rights activists from 12 countries in South and Southeast Asia and the MENA region, such as unpaid care work, domestic violence, divorce, and child and forced marriage, along with delayed justice in family court systems.
