Norhayati Kaprawi, or Yati, is a Muslim artist-activist and a filmmaker, having created many animations and documentaries that offer social messages on matters which concern her. She takes it upon herself to screen her films at university campuses and independent festivals around Malaysia – often to an eager audience and full houses. Her featured video tells the story during the Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) time of the female imam, Ummu Waraqah. (Bahasa Melayu with English subtitles)
